51% of Americans retire between the ages of 60 and 65, and early retirement is a goal that many Americans have. Although a successful early retirement represents a huge victory for you and your client, that victory can be quickly overshadowed if you're not prepared to help clients find their optimal healthcare coverage option to bridge them from their retirement date to 65 (the age of Medicare eligibility). Not knowing which coverage to enroll in exposes clients to financial risk related to healthcare costs, and if you're not the one guiding them on their insurance options, they may go to someone else.

This webinar will cover everything you need to know to confidently guide pre-65 retirees through the most common (and oftentimes the most optimal) healthcare choice available to them, The Affordable Care Act Marketplace. This webinar will also cover other health insurance coverage options available to pre-65 retirees, tips on how to have the healthcare planning conversation with your early retiree clients, and income planning strategies to help lower clients’ healthcare costs.

Learning Objectives:
1. The basics of the Affordable Care Act Marketplace health plans and other health insurance options available to pre-65 retirees.
2. How to clearly outline action items for your pre-65 retiree clients, such as specific enrollment timeframes.
3. How personal preference, risk tolerance, and other factors impact available plans and the cost of coverage.
4. The advantages and disadvantages of Health Savings Accounts.
5. Income planning strategies to help maximize advance premium tax credits for clients and create more affordable healthcare coverage options in retirement.
