FPAGA Career Day

New for 2017!!

We have changed this year’s career day into a Career Fair format! This will allow all the attendee’s to flow through the space and visit your booth/table. Hopefully, this will allow employers to meet with everyone instead of just a few of the attendees.  

After the speaker, we will have a traditional career fair format where prospective employers will have a "booth" to meet career day attendees. For those employers who are interested, we will have a separate more private room from 3-5 for them to conduct 15 minute interviews with candidates they would like. There are two ways to fill these slots: 1. We will send resumes of attendees out beforehand. You may reach out and schedule some of those who may be a good fit based on their resume. 2. From 2-3, as you meet attendees at your booths, you may schedule them for a 15 minute interview between 3-5.

The interviews are optional in case you do not have any current positions or no-one matches your current needs. In that case, the career fair portion would stay open for attendee’s to walk about, network, etc.  

Please plan to send your job openings, if available, ahead of time. A confirmation email will be sent with details on how to send information.

12:30 PM - 1:00 PM - Employer Set-Up

1:00PM – 1:30PM | Attendee Check-in | Network | SNACKS

1:30PM – 2:00PM | Panel Discussion or Speaker

2:00PM – 5:00PM | Career Fair

3:00PM – 5:00PM | Interview Room opens for optional interviews 

Registration with a booth and two chairs is free to members. 

Non-members welcome. Fee for non-members is $50.
